Selectivity

You may have noticed that some stocks respond more strongly to good news than stocks of other companies operating in the same field. Such favored stocks are also apt to show greater stability in times of stress. This emphasizes the importance of being selective - in short, choosing the stocks of companies which are in the strongest competitive position. It may pay you to ask yourself if the stocks you now own meet this test. If you are not sure, consult us - we have the facts you need for a sound appraisal.
