Miller Heights Citizen Association Names Frey

The Miller Heights Citizens Association elected William M. Frey Jr. as president at its recent general meeting. Frey has lived in Miller Heights for five years. Other new officers are Robert Friedman, vice president; Frank Kaplan, treasurer, and Jackie Tagudin, secretary. Completing the Board of Directors are Gertrude Bush, Bill Brookley, Herb Baer, A. C. Palm and Walt Caraker. Committee chairmen have already been appointed by President Frey: for General Area Improvement, Brookley; Welfare, Baer; Membership, Palm; Program, Caraker; Publicity, Bush. Caraker explained that a special effort would be made to program at least three evenings of "strictly entertainment" along with the educational and informational meetings such as have been had in the past. A special appeal will be made by Brookley for instructors to teach swimming to local youngsters during the annual summer program. The Citizens Association is interested in receiving any ideas or suggestions. Anyone wishing to offer their services may call CA 1-1666, MO 7-3023, MO 7-0307, MO 6-8790, or MO 5-7364.
