Now Women Just Don't Live In Houses--They Build 'Em
Gentlemen, move over. Women are invading another field of masculine endeavor — or at least in South Dade County — and the final product has all the charm of womanhood. They're moving into the home building field, with their smooth lines and contrasting designs — and home building never will be the same. Making the inroads is 23-year-old Gigi Reynolds Carrier, a beauty who is building some 10 homes comprising Sun Coral Estates subdivision at SW 144th St. and 87th Ave. She's a former model and television actress who grew up with a blueprint in one hand and a slide rule in the other. She learned it from her father, himself a Miami contractor. Even when Gigi was a youngster, she was a building superintendent — the sidewalk variety. GIGI REYNOLDS CARRIER
