MRS. HAROLD DRESNER

Miss Holly Weds Dresner, Honeymoon's in Quebec

On a honeymoon trip to Quebec, Canada, are Mr. and Mrs. Harold Dresner, following their marriage Saturday at Temple Beth Sholom. The bride, the former Marcie Vivian Holly, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward A. Holly of 6300 SW 62nd Place, South Miami. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Seymour Dresner of 1341 Stillwater Dr., Miami Beach. Rabbi Leon Kronish officiated at the high noon ceremony held in his study at the Temple. Mrs. Marvin Rose, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Vince Plance was best man. The bride attended the University of Wisconsin and was graduated from the University of Miami, in January, 1961. The groom attended the University of Illinois, and was graduated cum laude, in 1958 from the University of Florida. The couple will reside in New York City.

Jr. League Coffee is Tuesday

Mrs. John M. Dyer, 7701 SW 52nd Ct., is chairman of the Junior League's annual Sustaining Thrift Shop coffee to be held Tuesday, May 23. Members of her committee from South Miami are Mrs. James Barco, Mrs. David Jackson, Mrs. W. B. Nicholson, Mrs. Lewis Plunkett, Mrs. C. P. Youmans, Jr. and Mrs. John M. Murrell, Jr. One of the league's projects is the TV show "Wiser Worlds" which is seen on Channel 2 every Thursday at 4 p.m. The film is geared to the enjoyment of the senior citizen in the community.

3 Youths at Temple Zion Will Have Ceremonies

Two Bar Mitzvahs and a Bas Mitzvah will take place this weekend at Temple Zion on SW 70th Street. Judith Ann Supworth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Supworth, will be Bas Mitzvah Friday night. She is a seventh grade student at Ponce de Leon Junior High School and plays the flute in the school band. Arriving for the occasion will be Mr. and Mrs. Richard Sacks from Philadelphia and her grandmother, Mrs. E. Supworth of Chelsea, Mass. On Satureday morning at 9:30, Robert, son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Lazer, and Stanley, son of Mrs. Mamie Langbein, will be Bar Mitzvah. Robert is an honor student at West Miami Junior High School. Arriving for his Bar Mitzvah will be Mr. and Mrs. I. Met from New York, and Mrs. Samuel Renert and Mr. and Mrs. Alec Lazer from Hartford, Conn. Stanley is an accelerated honor student at Shenandoah Junior High. He plays piano at the Miami Conservatory. His guests will be his grandmother, Mrs. Lanbegin, from New Jersey, and his uncle, Sam Katz from Pittsburgh.

Employe Burned In Oven Blast

Ellen Fields, 22, an employe of Roy's Luncheonette, 215 Oak Avenue, suffered burns of the face and head the afternoon of May 10 when an oven blew up. The first degree burns were treated by Coral Gables Fireman R. A. Gossett and Lawrence Brockett at the scene. The victim was also treated at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
