'Hola Amigo'--Second Phase SW High Polishes Manners--Spanish Style

By JOY CHERRY Correspondent "Hola Amigo" will greet each Spanish speaking student new to Southwest on Friendship Day, Feb. 22. Members of the student traffic safety committee will go to each new student's homeroom and present him with a personal note in Spanish and a copy of Dade county driving regulations also in Spanish. Notes were translated by Mireya Diaz and Teresa Santlesteban. A display of South American scenes and souvenirs in the lobby is being arranged by a committee headed by Michele Levine. Announcements in Spanish welcoming the students will be presented by a committee headed by Vivian Bonnifer.
