Spring Wedding Plans Announced
Mrs. Charles Henry Neighbors of 1310 Lisbon St., and Chattanooga, Tenn., is announcing the engagement of her daughter, Peggy Charlotte, to Les Thomas Edwin, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Erwin of Miami. An early spring wedding is planned by the couple. Music Degrees The bride-elect attended Christian Colleg, Columbia, Mo., and has her Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music. She also was awarded the Bertha Bauer Memorial Scholarship for a graduate study. She attended the Juilliard School of Music, New York, a pupil of Olga Samaroff Stokowski. She is a member of Phi Theta Kappa, national honorary scholastic fratretnity; Phi u, national social sorority, and Sigma Alpha Iota, national professional music sorority. Miss Neighbors is also a member of the Country Club of Coral Gables. In the summer, she teaches piano at the National Music Camp, Interlochen, Mich., and in the winter conducts her own private studio. Temple Graduate Her fiance, a pharmacist with the Squibb Pharmacutial Co., earned his B. A. degree from Temple University Philadelphia and his Master in science from the University of Miami. At Temple he was elected to membership in Phi Delta Ch, honorary pharmaceutical ...trnity, and at the University of Miami he was a member of Sigma Nu, social fraternity. MISS NEIGHBORS
Anne Booke Will Be Bride On December 27
Mr. and Mrs. Bennie Booke, 6227 SW 63rd Ter., announce the engagement of their daughter, Anne, to Roger I DesRosiers, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roger I, DesRosiers, of Clearwater. The wedding is planned for Dec. 27 and will take place at the Roney Plaza Hotel, Miami Beach. UF Graduate The bride-elect was graduated in June from the University of Florida with a BA degree in English. She was president of Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority and a member of Broward Hall, the Women Students' Association and the Lyceum Council. She was tapped for Mortar Board and Alpha Lambda Delta, women's freshman honorary, and was elected to "Who's Who Among Colleges and Universities" at UF. She also received an award as the Most Outstanding Junior Woman. Air Force Duty Her fiance was graduated from Leominster High School, Leominster, Mass., in 1952. He served a four year tour of duty in the United States Air Force and was stationed in the Far East and in Washington, D. C. He was graduated in June from the University of Florida with a BFA in Painting. While at Florida he was managing editor of the "Orange Peel", editor of the Florida Review, a member of the Lyceum Council and the Sports Car Club. He was also a Florida Blue Key speaker. He is currently enrolled in the University of Illinois where he is studying for an MFA degree in painting and print making. MISS BOOKE
State Regent Will Address Gables DAR
Mrs. George Castleman Estill, Florida State Regent, Daughters of the American Revolution, will be guest speaker Tuesday, when the Coral Gables Chapter, DAR, meets at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Musicians Club of America. The Youth Choir of the First Methodist Church of Coral Gables will present a program of Chistmas music following Mrs. Estill's talk on "Manners Maketh the Man." Mrs. Estill will be honored at luncheon at the Coral Gables Country Club by members of the executive board prior to the meeting. Mrs. S. Edward S. Christiansen of Riviera Drive, chapter treasurer, entertained the executive board at her home on Tuesday for luncheon. Last night, Miss Eleanor Town, Florida State DAR treasurer, and a past regent of Coral Gables Chapter, opened her home for a reception honoring past regents at 2022 N. Greenway Dr. Also chairman of the evening group of the 220 member Coral Gables Chapter, Miss Town was co-hostess with the evening group at the reception honoring the past regents and its present executive board members.
Perrine Club Plans Games Party
A "games party" will be sponsored by the Perrine Woman's Club in Perrine Community Center on Dec. 13. Proceeds will benefit the club's library fund. Residents of South Dade are invited. Reservations may be made by calling Mrs. George Darrow, president, CEdar 5-2380. The club's annual Christmas Coffee will be held in the home of Mrs. George Cadman. Husbands of members were honored at a banquet at the Lobster House, Nov. 15.

Old Fashioned Christmas Story
An Old Fashioned Christmas Story will theme the annual holiday luncheon members of the Miami Panhellenic will give Saturday at the Top o' the Columbus. Mrs. George K. Roller will be toastmistress; Miss Mary B. Merritt will give the invocation. Mrs. Jack Knowles of Coral Gables is this year's president of Panhellenic. Mrs. Frank Kerdyk will follow her annual custom of presenting a Christmas story. This year it will be O'Henry's "The Gift of the Magi." Group singing of Christmas carols will have Mrs. John C. Stoltz as accompanists.

Cuban Benefit Dance
Alianza Interamerican has issued invitations to a Cuban relief benefit dance to be held Sunday evening at the DuPont Plaza Hotel. Latin artists will cooperate in this venture. Donation is $7.50 a couple. $5 a person.
Flagami PTA
The monthly meeting of the Flagami Elementary School PTA, 1100 SW 76th Ave., will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 13, at 8 p.m. The theme of the evening will be "Do-It-Yourself-Christmas-Display." Parents will demonstrate Chistmas gift ideas and decorations.
Speaker Will Discuss Radio Free Europe
William K. Harriman, executive director (for Florida), Radio Free Europe Fund, will be the speaker, when members of the Bayshore Woman's Club meet at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Simpson Garden Center. Mrs. V. M. Senner, 1112 Tangie St., chairman of American Homes Department of the club will present the speaker, who will discuss the importance of Communists themselves attach to the broadcasts of RFE and will also show two films narrated by John Daly. Mrs. M. B. Schuyler, who recently moved to 3015 Coconut Grove Dr., Coral Gables, is program chairman for the Bayshore Woman's Club, of which Mrs. Lloyd F. Davis, 3850 SW 4th St., is president.
