MRS. ROBERT H. MORNINGSTAR
Newlyweds Settle In South Miami
Residing in their new home at 7100 SW 83rd Ct., South Miami, are Mr. and Mrs. Robert H. Morningstar, whose recent marriage was solemnized in the Church of the Little Flower. The bride, the former Miss Marilyn Quinn, is a native of Prince Edward Island, Canada. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Morningstar, 8320 SW 141 St., and formerly of Punta Gorda, where he was a student at Charlotte High School. He left school to join the Marines and it was while he was finishing his tour of duty that he met his future bride. Double Ring Ceremony The Rev. Grogan officiated at the 5:30 p.m., double ring ceremony before about 40 close friends of the family. For her wedding the bride wore a ballerina length white organza gown with her voluminous veil falling from a coronet of orange blossoms. She carried a bridal bouquet of white French carnations. She was escorted to the altar by Victor Campbell, brother-in-law of the groom. Miss Carroll Campbell of Port Charlotte in a pale green ballerina length gown was maid of honor. Victor Campbell Jr. was the ring bearer. Best Man Ted Clore of Charlotte Harbor was best man. The reception followed at the Morningstar home. The bride and groom cut the decorated, three-tiered cake served with punch for the guests. After a brief wedding trip to Miami Beach the couple returned to their new apartment. The groom is employed by the Standard Oil Co.
Biltmore Club To Have Show
Mrs. Cameron Justason, 5820 S.W. 48th St., will be hostess today for the luncheon meeting of the Biltmore Heights Garden Club. The program at 9:30 a.m. will stress the importance of the approaching Metropolitan Miami Flower Show to be held next month. The subject will be "How to Win Blue Ribbons," with the Biltmore Gardeners displaying their own Little Flower Show. Mrs. Robert Adams, of Miami, director of District 12, will judge the entries and give advice.
President Installed
Mrs. Walter Gallup, 4401 Palmarito St., will be installed as president of the Hi-Neighbor Club in luncheon ceremonies Tuesday at the Riviera Country Club. Dr. Sam Mosely, the guest speaker, will discuss the advantages of living in Florida. Other new officers are Mrs. R. E. Bond and Mrs. Arona Rinehart, vice presidents; Mrs. A. A. Stone, secretary, and Mrs. Claire Rinehart, treasurer.
Miss Joan Torchia To Be Hostess
Miss Joan Torchia, 5989 SW 80th St., will be the hostess tonight for a meeting and social tea of the Co-operative Business Education Club of Southwest Miami High School. There are 40 members in the newly organized club. They take the children at St. Joseph's Villa for outings at Crandon Park as their welfare project.

Club To Feature Area Composers
The works of local composers will feature the meeting of the South Miami Music Club today at the University Christian Church. Hostesses for the meeting at 9:30 a.m. are Mrs. S. G. Riggs Jr. Mrs. C. F. Brand is club president. Soloists will be Marie Casani and Mary Lou Miller, who will sing songs by Margaret Matlack and Lenore Johannsen. Violinist Lacy Coe will play a composition of his own.

Coconut Grove's Mrs. Leslie Simmons and Mrs. Ben Martin are in Palm Beach to attend tonight's Royal Poinciana Playhouse presentation starring Robert Q. Lewis and Arthur Treacher.

Londoners Are Gables Guests
Eastern Airlines Capt. Jerry Wood and Mrs. Wood, of 1001 Coral Way, will have as their weekend houseguests Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Follows of London, England, who are on their home after attending the international Pilots Association meeting in Mexico City. Captain Wood, former vice president of National Association of Pilots Association, met Mr. Follows, when he, Follows, was secretary of the British Pilots Society in London.
