Eleanor Cain, Mr. Wall Says Vows Here Saturday
MRS. KENNETH WALL Mr. and Mrs. J. Forrest Cain, 1616 Mariana Ave., announce the marriage of their daughter, Eleanor Louise, to Kenneth Rutledge Wall, son of Mr. and Mrs. Emory P. Wall of West Palm Beach. The ceremony was held Saturday at the First Presbyterian Church with Dr. Clyde Myers officiating at the 11 a.m. service. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white silk organza gown made ballerina length, with scoop neckline and brief sleeves. Taffeta applique scroll work etched the neckline, sleeves and skirt. Her silk illusion veil was held in place with a matching cap and she carried white roses and orchids. Evelyn Cain, sister of the bride, was honor maid. Bridesmaids were Leigh Culley, of Coconut Grove and Sally Boureau of Coral Gables. Emory P. Wall Jr. of Garden City, Mich., was best man for his brother. Ushers were Norman Mallard and Donald DeWoody, both of West Palm Beach. The reception was held in the church patio. Receiving the guests, Mrs. Cain, mother of the bride, wore a print silk sheath gown. Mother of the groom was in a blue lace gown. The bride is a graduate of Coral Gables High School and Florida State University, where she was president of Sigma Kappa Sorority. She teaches home economics at the Boone High School, Orlando. The groom graduated from Palm Beach High School; Palm Beach Junior College and the University of Florida, where he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. He is an accountant on the staff of Potter, Bower & Co., certified public accountants of Orlando. After their honeymoon at Pompano Beach, the couple will reside at 1640 Poe Ave., Orlando.
Miss Tod to Marry; Will Live in Rome
Of interest to her Coral Gables friends, is the engagement of and approaching marriage of Miss Lillian Mary Stuart Tod, and Royston Tuttle Daley, of New York. The marriage will take place Saturday. The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James R. Tod of 819 Mendoza Ave. Her fiance is the son of Mrs. Jeannette Daley of Belmont. The wedding will be held at the Second Presbyterian Church in New York City with the Rev. E. Hoyt Palmer officiating. The reception will be held at the Plaza Hotel. The bride-elect attended the University of Miami for two years, and was graduated with honors from Boston University. She also attended St. John the Baptist School, St. Stephens College and La Fontelle, Switzerland. The groom-elect was graduated magna cum laude from Williams College, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He earned his degree in architecture from the Harvard Graduate School of Design, and was recently awarded the Prix de Rome in Architecture. He is a student at the American Academy in Rome, where his bride-to-be will also enter for a year of study. The couple will honeymoon in the Pocono Mountains and Rome.

56 Gables Club Members Will Fly to San Juan
Fifty-six members of the Coral Gables Country Club will fly to San Juan, Puerto Rico, next Wednesday (July 12) at 5:30 p.m. A buffet dinner in honor of the Coral Gables Country Club will be held in the San Juan Intercontinental Hotel at 10 o'clock the night of arrival. Many members of the group are golf lovers and will be playing the 7,115-yard Dorado course. It was designed by Robert Trent (Bobby) Jones.
