PLANNING A BENEFIT dinner-dance for the Daughters of Isabella Aug. 5, Knights of Columbus Hall, are Mrs. James Blain; Mrs. Raymond Sabin, 43 Montilla Ave.; and Mis Cathie Elder, chairman. The annual affair is called "Circuscapades" this year.

CORAL GABLES recently had a faceliftt-ing on its seven bridges. Workmen like Arthur Gary used a total of 26 gallons of paint. This span is at Hardee Road and Granada Boulevard.

ALL THAT'S LEFT of the Antilla Hotel, historic Gables landmark torn down several months ago, is this steel cable. The property, owned by millionaire Arthur Vining Davis, is at Ponce de Leon Blvd. and Antilla Ave.

THE GABLES joined the 151st independence celebration of Colombia last week with a ceremony at Cartegena Plaza, Sunset Drive & Le Jeune Road. Mayor Searle is at right. The Colombian flag flies.
