Still Smoking

Engineers are still at work trying to figure why the new Miami incinerator in Coconut Grove is still spewing out excessive smoke and foul odors in Coral Gables. Mayor Robert L. Searle told the Commission Tuesday that $12,000 has been appropriated by the Miami Commission to finance the corrective work. "I'm advised that if that doesn't work they are going to recall the incinerator," quipped Commissioner Joe Murphy.
