Mrs. Burnham Is Winner Of First Courtesy Contest
The winner of the first week's Courtesy Contest in Coral Gables is Mrs. Bernice N. Burnham, a sales person at the Rumpus Room on Miracle Mile. She will receive a $50 Savings Bond. Janet Don Louie, 114 Calabria Ave., wrote the letter which won for Mrs. Burnham. Miss Louie will receive a $25 bond. The contest will have weekly winners for the next several weeks. Mrs. Burnham has been with the Rumpus Room for about two years and before that was with another Mile store for five years. As for selling, she says: "Don't get in it unless you like people. "And I'd say the merchant has a lot to do with a sales person's attitude. When he spends time point out things you can improve yourself with, you want to do more for him." Mrs. Burnham is a native of Oak Park, Ill. She and her husband live at 9945 Sunset Drive. Their three children are married. Burnham has been with the Electrolux Corp. for 25 years. MISS LOUIE MRS.
