Mrs. John Montgomery, 4412 Santa Maria St., was hostess Friday for the members of Coral Gables Chapter, D.A.R. celebrating their 33rd birthday. Kay, wearing her hair in the new "Bubble" style was wearing a purple sheath and she looked stunning. Miss Helen Grace Warner, who was regent in 1938-40 was presiding at the coffee table. She tells us she has moved to the Musicians Club and is quite happy there, since there is never a dull moment. Mrs. Philip E. She said they love the Gables, and so does daughter, Severy, a senior student at Coral Gables High, and son John Jr., a junior student at Florida State University. "They - the children - love the Gables and hope to always live right around here," she said making a circle with er hand. * * * After nine years residing on Key Biscayne, the J. C. Fryer family have a Coral Gables address, 6400 Leonardo St. Mrs. Fryer, who has a charming Southern drawl, says, and now the Coral Gables bus people have stated they will have a school bus from the Key to Coral Gables beginning this fall. Their son Jim is on the football team at Coral Gables High School. He is leaving tomorrow, (Friday) for Gainesville and the University of Florida Homecoming.
