SHORTLY AFTER the marriage ceremony at Doral Country Club, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Cone of Deerborne School shared their wedding cake with their five children, Laura Wepman, Perry Cone, Pamela Cone, Bruce Wepman and Jonathan Cone. The children also accompanied their parents on the honeymoon at Miami Beach. The combined family now includes five children, says Mrs. Cone, plus three dogs, two cats, and a horse called Pandora.
Has Help For Blind
Renuart Hardware, located at South Ponce de Leon Boulevard, is the first store in the area to carry a complete line of janitorial and household brooms and mops made at the Miami Lighthouse for the Blind. The industrial plant of the Miami Lighthouse, located at 601 SW 8th Ave., employs 42 persons. The plant is now in the process of getting new equipment and by the end of the year, eight more persons are expected to be employed, Clifford Low, director of public relations, said. The group started in the broom and mop market in 1948 through the efforts of the Earl V. Wilson Co., brokers. Chain store sales in the past three months in Dade and Broward Counties have doubled enabling the plant to employ four more persons.
