$145,970 in CG Permits Issued

Eight permits totalling $145,970 were issued by the Coral Gables Building Department last week. The largest permit went to an addition at Matheson Hammock Park for $38,000. Other permits went to Mr. Mrs. J. W. Thomas, 4901-4905 University Dr., for a duplex, $28,000. Adele Rosen, Gertrude Siegal, 23 Marabella Ave., addition, $3,890. Mr. and Mrs. Manuel Garcia, 1122 Country Club Prado, residence and screen enclosure, $26,000. Parker Co. of Florida, Inc., 4685 Ponce de Leon Blvd., $5,000. J. A. Collins, 7750 Mindello St., residence, $18,000. M. R. Lefkove, 625 San Juan Dr., screen enclosure, $3,080. Dr. and Mrs. F. Williams, 216, 218 Santander Ave., duplex, $24,000.

No Money, Please

The gift of money to City employes for Christmas is taboo, but non-monetary gifts may be given, City Manager L. W. Robinson Jr. said Tuesday. In South Miami, suppliers and others doing business with the City have been asked to make their contribution to worthy causes.
