june gray woman's editor Since this is the last column I will write as Woman's Editor of the TIMES, I will say goodbye to all my readers and the people I have met since coming to the TIMES staff in August. I shall miss you all. I know you will extend a warm welcome to my successor, Miss Dorothy Collin, and make her feel a part of the community as you have made me feel. I am sure you will enjoy her coverage of the Gables' social life and publicity chairmen will find working with her a pleasure. She is a Chicago native and a graduate of the University of Iowa. I have certainly learned a great deal about the newspaper business and people since I have been here. This is a phase of education that is not taught in the college classroom. As I learn more, I realize how little I know in comparision with the vast amount of knowledge left to learn. But what I have learned will serve me well when I join the staff of the Dayton (Ohio) Daily News the last of this month. May you all have a merry Christmas and a most successful new year.
