'Birthday Christmas' Plan Is Available for You

If you would like to celebrate a "Birthday Christmas" Dec. 25 you can get many suggestions now on how to make the cake, decorate and sing on the occasion. The idea is to celebrate Christ's birthday, and not just the giving of His gifts to each other. Mrs. C. O. Prowse Jr., who created the tradition on a Christmas eight years ago, will mail you all the information if you send 15 cents and a self-addressed stamped envelope to her at 4040 Matheson Ave., Miami 33, Fla. The "Birthday Christmas" spread all over Miami after the ministerial association gave parties in 1954 to illustrate the idea. Five religious groups which took up the celebration from the start are the Methodists, Salvation Army, Episcopal, Christian, and Presbyterian.
