Mrs. Kerdyk Is Injured In New York

Frank E. Kerdyk, member of Coral Gables City Commission, has returned from a weekend trip to New York where he visited his ailing mother, Mrs. Frank Kerdyk, of Coral Gables, who suffered a broken hip. Kerdyk said his mother left in June for her annual visit to her native New York. She entered Clifton Springs Sanitarium, Clifton Springs, N. Y., for her annual check up and it was while she was there the accident happened. She told her son she reached out to turn off her bed-side lamp and fell to the floor. The door was closed and she called but no one heard her, and she lay for sometime before she was found. Mrs. Kerdyk is a member of the Coral Gables Woman's Club and of the Country Club of Coral Gables and has been a Gabelite for many years. Her younger son, Bill Kerdyk and family also lives in the Gables. Frank said his mother has been so grateful over the many letters and cards she has received and she hopes to answer them all soon.
