Pools popular summer addition for home improvement
With summer just a few weeks away, South Dade residents have begun preparing for the hot months ahead. Last week 15 building permits were issued for swimming pools, 10 for Florida rooms and 17 permits were granted for new homes. New home permits were issued to: R. C. Hutchenson, for a two-story, $60,000 home at 1190 San Pedro Ave. S. O'Neill for a $100,000 home at 7001 Robles St., Coco Plum. Jorge Viera for a $35,000 home at 1937 Red Rd. Bet Development, Ltd., for an $82,000 home at 7580 SW 176th St. Dwane Tonembaum for a $37,000 home at 18345 SW 206th St. Michael W. Sontag for a $41,000 home at 15935 SW 90th Ave. C.C.C. Development Corp., for 10 homes in vicinity of SW 16th Street and 103rd Avenue. Russell-Mursten Partnership for a $2.1 million apartment building at 4600 SW 67th Ave. Swimming pool permits were issued to: Luis R. Warra, 4033 SW 62nd Ave. K. S. Pecht, 8875 SW 92nd Pl. Harry Mansure, 9001 SW 45th St. George Pirez, 13015 SW 109th Pl. Mario Yanes, 11705 SW 108th Ct. William Connolly, 19541 Whispering Pines Rd. J. Hare, 19551 Whispering Pines Rd. Irben Corp., 13100 SW 81st Ave. Jack Serig, 9021 SW 140th St. Leonard Nabotovsky, 9060 SW 69th Terr. Ken Krefts, 11180 Snapper Creek Rd. L. Cox, 9287 Nassau Dr. Paul A. Ellis, 9284 Jamaica Dr. Bill Ussery Motors, 297 Almeria Ave., received a permit for and addition to the showroom. The City of Coral Gables was granted a permit for a parking lot on Ponce de Leon Boulevard between Miller Drive and Alhambra Circle.
