JEWISH COMMUNITY CENTERS

The Jewish Community Centers have a summer scheduled for children and teens to enable them to get to know themselves, each other and their Jewish heritage while enjoying a program designed for their age group. Three to five year olds will enjoy swimming, creative arts, sports, games and Hebrew songs, while the first and second graders will participate in sports, nature lore games and a program of music, arts and crafts and folk dancing designed to enhance Jewish identity. Third and Fourth graders will develop skills, make new friends, explore new ideas and enjoy the music, dance and history of the Jewish people. Fifth and Seventh grade campers will be encouraged to develop independence while maintaining group involvement in a full camping experience including the exploration of the Jewish heritage. A teen travel camp is also planned with trips to Atlanta, Disney World, Washington, D.C. and Florida points of interest scheduled. SEE PAGES 20 AND 21 FOR MORE CAMPS
