Westchester six-year-old wins Disney World trip from Sears
Six-year-old Eduardo "Eddie" Carranza of 2941 SW 77th Pl., is the winner in a recent contest sponsored by Sears. Eddie, his sister and his parents will enjoy a free weekend at Disney World, including air fare, meals, hotel room and access to the Disney center. Eddie filled out the winning entry form in Sears' Winnie the Pooh for President contest.

Bank veep John F. Smithies of Coral Gables has been appointed vice president of foreign correspondent bank relationships for the Republic National Bank of Miami. Smithies lives with his wife Laura and son John. Smithies Myers Reelected to board Van Myers of Coral Gables has been reelected to the board of directors of the National Automatic Merchandising Association. Myers is a senior vice president in charge of vending and bottling for Wometco Enterprises, Inc. Honors grad Donna Marlene Rubin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sy Lake of 8310 SW 27th A St., graduated with honors from the University of Florida. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Technology. Donna is a 1973 graduate of Coral Park High School. Choir member Douglas James Holcomb, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lyle D. Holcomb of Coral Gables, has been selected for membership in the Belhaven College concert choir. Holcomb is a Coral Gables High School graduate and is majoring in humanities at the Jackson, Miss., college. FSU grads Six Coral Gables residents are summer quarter graduates from Florida State University in Tallahassee. They are: Deborah Jean Gordon, 741 Greenway Dr., Helen Susanne Hunt, 500 Almeria Ave., Mary Monica Koval, 4017 San Amaro Dr., Druscilla R. College bound Dawn Bjork, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Bjork of 4801 Biltmore Dr., Coral Gables, is presently attending Bethel College in St. Paul, Minn. joined the Marines in February, 1974. Airman promoted Stephen J. Mulligan, whose wife Linda is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Rosillo of 6020 SW 72nd Ave., has been promoted to the rank of senior airman in the Air Force while serving at Bergstrom AFB, Tex. Marine Corps Lance Corporal Jerry L. Cain, 19, son of Mrs. Mary F. Harris of 10250 SW 173rd St., in Perrine, has reported for duty with the 2nd Marine Division at Camp LeJeune, N.C.
