Roberto Suero, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roberto Suero, 1421 Obispo Ave., is in recruit training at the Naval Training Center, Great Lakes, L.I. At the end of the nine weeks training, Roberto may select one of 67 job specialties. * * * The Omega chapter, Delta Phi Epsilon sorority, will present its annual "Pledges on Parade" dance Dec. 9 at the Miami Beach Auditorium. The Chapter was founded at the UM in 1939. * * * Coral Gables Chapter of the Dale Carnegie Association held its annual Founders Day banquet at the Coral Gables Country Club Wednesday.

CARA ANN Doolittle of Waukegan, Ill., will wed Robert Bartmes in December. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Bartmes of 1637 SW 16th St.

HAROLD LEE GREGORY, a past president of the Riviera Country Club (seated) is about to pin a corsage on his wife, Billie, as Dr. and Mrs. Francis Cooke, 1401 Castile St., look on. Occasion was the President's Ball at the Riviera Country Club. Dr. Cooke is a member of the board of directors.

Patton President

New officers of the Riviera Country Club are Stewart Patton, president; Harvey Elwood, first vice president; R. Bunn Gautier Jr., second vice president; Robert N. McDonald, secretary; and Hugh Purvis, treasurer. The annual presidents' ball and dinner dance, the one formal affair of the year, was held Saturday at the club with 300 members attending. The new officers serve one year.

Michael A. Sessions, son of Mr. and Mrs. John M. Sessions, 1230 Mendavia Ave., has received an appointment to attend the Marine Corps Officers Candidate Course at Quantico, Va., for the next 10 weeks. * * * Hillel House on the University of Miami campus will be the setting, at 12:30 p.m. Dec. 6 for the program meeting of the Sunset Division, National Council of Jewish Women. Mrs. Aaron Farr, a national NCJW board member, will be among the speakers. * * * Prizes will be awarded for the "13 Original States" when the Beaux Arts stages its annual Costume Ball Dec. 9 at the Surf Club.
