Shown at the New York International Airport about to board a jet is Mrs. Christel C. Royce who will join her husband, A-2c Charles W. Royce, stationed at Izmir, Turkey. The Royces resided at 344 Mendoza Ave. ★ ★ ★ James Choromokos Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. James Choromokos, 712 Navarre Ave., was one among 425 University of Wyoming students making the dean's honor roll during the fall semester. James Jr. is a graduate in engineering. ★ ★ ★ Navy Capt. Edward I. Gigson, son of Mrs. H. K. Gibson, 3504 Durango St., is serving on the staff of Rear Admiral Paul D. Buie, Commander Carrier Div. 14, aboard the aircraft carrier USS Wasp operating in the North Atlantic. Marine Aviation Cadet James S. Greene, son of Mr. and Mrs. James J. Greene, 1002 Capri St., was graduated Feb. 23 from the Naval School of Pre-Flight at the Naval Air Station, Pensacola. ★ ★ ★ Florence Boughton, resident of New Jersey and member of the Musicians Club of America, is visiting there for the next two weeks. She will give a piano concert Sunday including the works of Mendelssohn, Chopin, Rachmaninoff and Moszkowski with whom she studied. The public is invited and the 4 p.m. hour is a regular Sunday program. ★ ★ ★ It was a busman's holiday as they rode a bus and the holiday was St. Patrick's Day. "They" were the members of the Flamingo Club (social) entertaining their husbands, about 45 in all, and all wearing green. Dinner was served at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Quinlivan, 5825 SW 99th Ter., preceded by shrimp cocktails at the James R. Davants, 1224 Castile Ave., and salad at the home of Mr. and Mrs. N. J. Walter, 7028 Mindello Ave.

She'll Wed Mr. Ressler, Californian

MISS SAUNDERS She'll Wed Mr. Ressler, Californian Mr. and Mrs. Joseph L. Saunders, 6495 SW 34th St., announce the engagement of their daughter, Diana, to John Q. Ressler, son of Dr. and Mrs. Q. M. Ressler of Riverside, Calif. A June wedding is planned. The bride-elect attended Coral Gables High School and graduated with a BA degree at the University of Florida in 1961, after having attended St. John's College in Annapolis, Md. She belonged to Phi Kappa Phi, national scholarship honor society, and Alpha Delta Pi, social sorority. She is taking a graduate program in anthropology at the University of Arizona where her fiance is working toward his Ph.D in archaeology. He earned his BA degree in 1960 from the University of California.

Miss Roberts Is Engaged To Mr. Jones

Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Roberts, formerly of Coral Gables, now residing at 19021 Sterling Drive, Bel Aire, announce the engagement of their daughter, Annette, to C. Jerome Jones. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. F. C. Jones of Jacksonville. The wedding date is June 16 and the setting the First Presbyterian Church of Coral Gables. The bride elect is a graduate of Coral Gables High School and is a junior student at Florida State University, where she is a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. She has been active in Fashion, Inc., and is representative for Mademoiselle magazine on campus. Her maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Carl F. Deremo of 524 Mendoza Ave. Her fiance is a graduate of Paxon High School, Jacksonville, and is a junior at the University of Florida, where he is a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity, a member of the football team and of the Society for Christian Athletes.

Dorothy Hill Marries, Lived on Alhambra Circle

Dorothy Hill, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clinton C. Bae-key of 125 Harbor Dr., Key Biscayne, became the bride of George J. Cavagnaro Jr., March 5 in a 4 p.m. civil ceremony in Miami. The new Mrs. Cavagnaro resided in Coral Gables at 15 Alhambra Cir. until Jan. 15 of this year. She is a graduate of Lower Merion High School, Ardmore, Pa., and of Edgewood Park Junior College, Briarcliff Manor, N.Y. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George J. Cavagnaro of Vineland, N.J. He graduated from Valley Forge Military Academy, Wayne, Pa., and the Franklin and Marshall College Lancaster, Pa., and is a member of Sigma Pi fraternity. MRS. CAVAGNARO

PEOPLE

Tequesta Society, Children of the American Revolution, Coral Gables, came home from Bradenton, with two state offices in the annual March elections of the Florida State organization. They are Peggy Gillmer, first vice president, and Connie Cheatham, corresponding secretary. Peggy, the daughter of Mrs. Margaret Vittur Gillmer, 6413 Santona Ave., is a senior at Coral Gables High School. Connie, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawson A. Cheatham, 1413 Sopera Ave. is a sophomore at Ponce de Leon Junior High School.
