CORAL GABLES Lions Auxiliary, wives of Lion Club members, will install new officers next Wednesday during a luncheon at the Riviera Country Club. It could have been called the daisy-chain, since this first flower of Spring was the keynote of decorations at the annual May breakfast and installation of officers of the Coral Gables Woman's Club at the Gables Country Club last Thursday. Mrs. Lloyd Rees presided. Mrs. James Morgan, president of the Goodwill Industries, used the daisy petals as keynote for her installation, saying the petals represented the many duties of each separate office. Mrs. John H. Worley, president, is serving her second term. The following are new officers. Mrs. Lloyd Rees, first vice president; Mrs. Gene F. Gabriel, second vice president; Mrs. C. W. Dabney, recording and Mrs. S. A. Dansyear, corresponding secretaries. Mrs. Franklin Evans, financial secretary; and treasurer Mrs. Arthur E. Darlow. Mrs. Louis Stajdel, Mrs. W. W. Wynne and Mrs. Stanley P. Fosgate were installed as directors.

Parking Hearing

The City is asking public opinion on an ordinance to require vacant lots used for parking to be paved. The ordinance, already passed on first reading before the City Commission, would require parking lots for all new buildings to be paved. In two years, all existing buildings would have to meet its provisions. Those interested should contact City Hall.
