The Walter Ostrowitzes To Live on Grand Turk
Mrs. Walter Ostrowitz Grand Turk Island, the Bahamas, will be the future home of newlywedded Mr. and Mrs. Walter Ostrowitz Jr. The wedding of the former Miss Joan Elizabeth Harris, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Willard Palmer Harris, of 517 Zamora Ave., and Walter Ostrowitz Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Ostrowitz, of 11 Menores Ave., took place Tuesday at the First Presbyterian Church of Coral Gables. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a floor-length gown of taffeta and alencon lace with fitted bodice and chapel train. Her veil of illusion was waist length and fell from a crown of pearls. She carried a bouquet of white orchids, lily of the valley and carnations. Maid of honor, Miss Georgia Saunders, and matron of honor, Mrs. Jerry Nobles, wore short formals of lavender taffeta with circle crowns of pearls and short veils. They carried pink carnations and orchids. Bridesmaids were Miss Pat Mansene, Miss Eleanore Whiteside, Miss Carolyn Stuart, and Miss Vicky Landry. They were in short formals of pink taffeta with pearl circle headpieces and veils. They carried pale orchids mums with pink carnations. Ben Ross was best man. Ushers were John Ross, Dick Burns, Bob Burns, Gary Belcher and David Harris, brother of the bride. The reception was held at the Coral Gables Woman's Club. The bride, a graduate of Coral Gables High School, has toured with a water ballet company throughout the Middle-West and has recently done modeling and water skiing at Cypress Gardens. The groom, a graduate of Coral Gables High School, has served four years in the U.S. Navy, two and one half of which was in Japan. He is working for the Radio Corporation of America on the Atlantic Missile Range.

Mrs. Bernard Rein of 20 Sevilla Ave. has as her guest her brother, Leo Schlesinger of Canada. Three Coral Gables women, past presidents of area chapters of National Children's Cardiac Hospital, met with some 20 other former presidents last week to discuss further aid to the Miami Children's Cardiac Hospital. The Gableites were Mrs. Arthur Chesan, 720 Paradiso; Mrs. Morris Silver, 611 Tiziano; and Mrs. Doran D. Zinner, 1017 Alhambra Cir.

Top Duffers Honored At Church
Larry Tilbride and Mrs. June Papy were the top golfers in their respective groups at the Granada Presbyterian Golf Tournament held last Friday. Runnersup in the men's division were Dr. R. L. Swink and Clyde Schraeder. Second and third in the women's group were Mrs. Charles Kimbrell and Mrs. James Billings. The top foursome was Jack Thomson, W. L. Richardson, Jr. Ed Antonette and Larry Tilbride.
