Naval Academy Grad, Gables Girl United

The Coco Plum Woman's Club of Coral Gables was the setting for the reception, Saturday following the wedding of the former Miss Mary Anne Temple, and Ensign Peter S. Gingras. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Millard E. Temple, of 6305 Caballero Blvd. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh E. Gingras, of 5817 SW 62nd Ave. The ceremony took place at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Church of the Epiphany and the couple pledged their vows in double ring ceremony with the Rev. Fr. John O'Dowd officiating. FITTED BODICE Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of Peau de Satin designed with fitted bodice, long sleeves and Sabrina neckline. Appliques of Alencon lace etched the full circular skirt and rounded neck line of the traditional buttoned waist. Her illusion veil fell from a seed pearl pill box and she carried her prayer book covered in orchids. Miss Martha Tibbetts was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. C. J. Craig, Miss Keela Wood, Miss Jo Ann Helm, and junior bridesmaid Miss Janet Jones, cousin of the bride. They wore identical gowns with bell shaped skirt of yellow taffeta and white lace bodice with obi sash and carried lace fans of yellow and white carnations. Hugh E. Gingras was best man for his son and ushers were William Temple, brother of the bride; Fred Ash, Alan Aber and Julian Gingras. For her daughter's wedding Mrs. Temple wore an avocada green silk organza sheath with matching silk taffeta hat and valley lilies corsage. Mother of the groom was in a beige lace and silk sheath, with beige hat and orchid corsage. BORROWED GIFT For her something borrowed, the bride wore a relic of "The Little Flower of Jesus" given to her mother in Rome last Aug. 15. Out of town relatives here for the wedding were bride's aunt, Mrs. W. L. Jones, and her cousin, Miss Janet Jones, of Mobile; the grandmother of the bride Mrs. J. E. Temple, of Pensacola; also Mr. and Mrs. Julian Gingras, of West Palm Beach. The bride is a graduate of Coral Gables High School and of Florida State College. The groom is a graduate of Coral Gables High School and the 1962 class of the United States Naval Academy. He will be stationed in San Diego, after they motor to California, following a wedding trip tour of Florida. MRS. PETER GINGRAS

They'll Study at U.F. After Honeymoon Trip

Mr. and Mrs. C. Edwin Roberts of 19021 Sterling Dr., Bel-Aire announce the marriage of their daughter, Dorothy Ann-ette to C. Jerome Jones, son of Mr. and Mrs. F. C. Jones of Jacksonville. The First Presbyterian Church of Coral Gables was the setting for the 4:30 p.m. ceremony and the reception followed in narthex of the church. The bride wore a floor length white peau de soie gown designed with fitted bodice of Alencon lace, scoop neck line and long sleeves. BELL SHAPED SKIRT The bell shaped skirt fell into a panel train. The bride designed and made her own gown, and her only ornament was a gold cross, the gift of the groom. Carolyn Louise Roberts was honor maid and Kathleen Rae Roberts was bridesmaid. Both sisters of the bride, they wore identical gowns of Dior blue organza over taffet fashioned after the bride's gown and wore flat bow hats of matching material and carried white daisies. The honor maid made the attendants' gowns. THREE USHERS William Rogers was bestman. Ushering were Robert Kotis, Herbert Baumbach and Tom Hendricks. Dr. Clyde L. Myers officiated at the 4:30 p.m. double ring ceremony. The bride graduated from Coral Gables High School and Florida State University where she belonged to Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. She was chairman of the Modeling Board and campus representative for "Mademoiselle" magazine. The groom is a graduate of Paxon High School, Jacksonville, and attends the University of Florida where is is a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity. Both the bride and groom plan to continue studying at the University of Florida. They will reside in Gainesville, after their upstate honeymoon trip. MRS. JEROME JONES

Couple to Live in Coral Gables After Honeymoon in Mexico

MRS. OTTO LOSA On a honeymoon trip to Mexico City, Acapulco and New Orleans are Mr. and Mrs. Otto Losa following their marriage Saturday at the Church of the Little Flower. The bride, the former Miss Judith Smith, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Lynn Smith of 1226 Madrid Street, formerly of Charleston, W. Va. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Losa of Mexico City. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor length gown of candlelight peau de soie designed with fitted bodice, long point at hand sleeves and scalloped neck line with lace insets reembroidered in sequins and pearls. The full skirt swept into an aisle wide train, her voluminous veil fell from an etched in seed pearls leaf decorated headpiece and she carried a prayerbook that has belonged in the groom's family for many years, covered in white orchids, stephanotis and lily of the valley. Mrs. Kermyt Callahan Jr., sister of the bride was honor matron and bridesmaids were Jennifer Smith, sister of the bride, June Knight Edwards and Diane Jones Dodge. FATHER BEST MAN Father of the groom was best man. Ushers were Fernando Saenz, Patao Baldo Aoselle and John Cendoya. Fr. Gregorie officiated at the 4 p.m. ceremony and the reception took place in the Olympus Room of the Everglades Hotel: The mother of the bride wore shell pink silk linen ensemble with matching accessories and the mother of the groom was in smoke blue chiffon with lace bodice and both matrons wore orchids. Miss Gail Cruze, cousin of the bride who flew in from Charleston, W. Va., kept the bride's guest book at the reception. The bride graduated from Miami Senior High School and attended Florida State University. The groom attended school in Boston and California and the University of Havana. He is presently employed by the Esso Standard Oil, S. A. Limited in Coral Gables. The couple will reside at 1214 Galiano Street.

Smith, Goodyear Wed; Will Live in El Paso

On a honeymoon trip to Mexico with destination El Paso, Texas, where they will live, are Mr. and Mrs. Samuel L. Goodyear. The wedding took place Friday in El Paso. The bride, the former Miss Arundell L. Smith, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond L. Smith of 5009 Granada Blvd., wore for her wedding a white silk organza gown with reembroidered Alencon lace on the fitted bodice and bell skirt. Her voluminous short veil of illusion fell from a headpiece of valley lilies and she carried a bouquet of white roses. The groom, Army Pvt. Samuel L. Goodyear, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas L. Goodyear of 6200 SW 27th St. is a Southwest High School graduate. The wedding of the couple took place in the Chapel at Fort Bliss, El Paso, and the bride's mother, Mrs. Smith, was present. She wore a light blue silk sheath with matching accessories for the rites. MRS. S. L. GOODYEAR

Coco Plum Woman's Club Grows by 43 Members

Mrs. James R. Davant, president of the Coco Plum Woman's Club entertained the 43 new members of the club at a recent "Get Acquainted" coffee. Officers and directors of the club were present to welcome the group, also Mrs. J. Elton Lundy, membership chairman. The new members are: Mrs. Ross E. Apgar, Mrs. Joseph E. Banks, Mrs. Arthur E.
