Miss Aronowitz To Gables Resident

Mr. and Mrs. David Aronowitz, of 2241 SW 25th Ter., announce the engagement of their daughter, Gail Stephanie to Mark Snider, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman A. Snider, of 551 Valencia Ave., Coral Gables. No date has been set for the wedding. The bride - elect is a graduate of Miami High School, attended the University of Miami. She has been active in B'nai B'rith and served as vice president of "the Debs" She is presently employed by the Andy Frain ushering agency. Her fiance, a native of Newton, Mass., is a graduate of Miami High School and was a Merit finalist. He graduated with honors from Princeton University and will enter Yale School of Medicine in September. He is presently employed by the Dade County Medical Examiner's office.

They'll Reside Here After Honeymoon

On their wedding trip to Lima, Peru, are Mr. and Mrs. Richard Larry Medlin whose wedding took place Saturday at the Coral Baptist Church. The bride is the former, Miss Melinda Mae Movius, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward W. Movius, of 13301 SW 83rd Ave., and Lima, Peru. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Medlin, of 830 Granada Blvd. Given in marriage by Prof., M. H. Johnson, the bride wore a floor length white peau de soie gown designed with fitted bodice high neckline and bracelet length sleeves. ETCHED BODICE Reembroidered Alencon lace etched the bodice and sleeves and she wore her mother's sheer lace trimmed wedding veil gathered at the top with a cluster of valley-lilies. She carried a bouquet of white orchids. Anita Otto, of Pensacola, was honor maid and bridesmaid was Linda Medlin, sister of the groom. They wore gowns of aqua crepe with matching hats and carried bouquets of orchids. Leslie Medlin, brother of the groom was best man. Ushers were John Carter, Charles Harrington and Renny Temple. The Rev. Forrest H. Watkins, officiated at the 4 p.m. double ring ceremony and the reception followed in the Lounge of the church. The bride's mother and father were unable to attend the wedding. ORCHID CORSAGE Mother of the groom wore a yellow silk and white lace ensemble and a white orchid corsage. Interesting sidelight, Prof. Johnson who gave the bride in marriage, was one of the groom's professor's in architecture at the University of Florida. The bride is a graduate of Coral Gables High School and attended the University of Florida for two years. The groom is an honor graduate of Miami High School, member of it's Key Club and National Honor Society. He was graduated cum laude June 11 from the University of Florida's School of architecture, historian of Phi Eta Sigma (freshman honorary) president two terms of Gargoyle, (architectural honorary); recently initiated Phi Kappa Phi honorary (upper 10 per cent of whole school). The couple will honeymoon in Lima and reside in Miami.
