Coral Gables Junior Woman's Club honored its president, Mrs. Joseph C. Pereno Jr., at a reception Wednesday afternoon of last week at the home of Mrs. V. E. Clarke, 2310 Greenway Dr. Included in the receiving line were Mrs. James Barco Bishop, president of the Dade County Federation of Women's Clubs; Mrs. S. Kenneth Stanleigh, director of District XI for the Florida Federation. Two members at large, Mrs. A. B. Kirtland Jr., state recording secretary; and Mrs. W. L. Lewis chairman of the international affairs department for the Florida Federation.

Linda Getty Is Planning Wedding for December

Mr. and Mrs. Earl Carman Getty, 1010 Manati Ave., announce the engagement of their daughter, Linda Jane, to Frederick Glenn Tucker Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Glenn Tucker, 95 Flagami Blvd. Linda Jane, a graduate of Coral Gables High School, does secretarial work for an insurance company. Her fiance, a graduate of South West High, is an employee of Metropolitan Insurance Co. The wedding is planned for Dec. 7.
