Kligerman-Rifas Wed At Fontainebleau Hotel
Fontainebleau Hotel was the scene of the Nov. 22 wedding of Karen Annabeth Kligerman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joshua Kligerman, Biscayne Point, Miami Beach, and Harold Martin Rifas. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David R. Rifas, 4635 Granada Blvd. For her wedding, the bride chose a floor-length, gown of pure silk peau de soie with an attached train. A French illusion veil fell from a rose crown. She carried lilies of the valley and baby orchids on a heirloom Bible. Maid of honor was Harriet Rifas, and bridesmaids were Willa Kligerman, Carol Cohen, Sona Rosenberg and Marilyn Hurwitz. Gary Rovin was best man. Ushers wer Joel Levin, Arnold Levy and Michael Bressler. The bride attends the University of Miami and the groom the UM School of Law. After a Jamaica honeymoon, the couple will live on the UM campus. MRS. H. MARTIN RIFAS

Michele Marie Reinert, newest addition to the J. Anthony Reinert family, SW 180th St., was formally christened Nov. 11. Here to baptize the baby was the Rev. Paul C. Reinert, president of St. Lewis University. Father Reinert, cousin to Mr. Reinert, was in town to speak a the Southern Medical Association convention. Maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Howard W. Pettengill, 2613 Cordova, and the paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Reinert, Dubuque, Iowa. Michele has two brothers, Richard, four and Robert, two. ★ ★ ★ Attorney Joseph M. Fitzgerald has been elected president of the national alumni association of Mount Saint Mary's College, Emmitsburg, Md. The association recently revised its constitution, and Fitzgerald was able to succeed himself. He served as president last year. A graduate of class of '39, he lives at 6817 Riviera Dr. ★ ★ ★ Caroling bands from the Seventh-Day Adventist Church have received the city's permission to sing carols until the end of November in connection with their World Mission Appeal. Funds donated will be divided between local needs such as welfare and disaster relief units and world needs such as clinics, dispensaries, leper colonies and mission schools. ★ ★ ★ Mrs. Mary Louise Dunwoody is recovering from surgery undergone at Mercy Hospital. She is at her home, 6841 SW 52nd St. She is a vice president of the Coral Gables First National Bank.
Cocktails For Group
The Citizens Advisory Committee of Doctors Hospital held its annual cocktail party last night (Wednesday). The affair for the 40-member committee was held at the home of Dr. and Mrs. C. H. McDevitt Jr. He is the chairman of the board at Doctors Hospital. Welcoming the guests last night were committee president Warner Daniels and Mrs. Daniels; hospital administrator, Mrs. Mary Reeder; and Dr. and Mrs. McDevitt.
