Cancer Unit Plans Fete
Warren W. Zinsmaster Chapter of the Woman's Cancer Association of the University of Miami, is having its annual cocktail buffet at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 8, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Cleys, 937 Coral Way. Decorations are not needed for the Cleys have hundreds of orchids in bloom hanging in their mango trees. Mrs. Henry Krystow, chairman, has set her goal for at least $2,500.

A program of American music will be given by Mrs. Bernice Ripley for members of the Major Francis Langhorne Dade Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution at their Dec. 4 meeting at 1:30 p.m. at the Musicians Club, 307 Minorca Ave.

Todd Clay, son of Mr. and Mrs. Everett Clay, 1424 Algardi Ave., gave a party Saturday night for his fraternity brothers from Stetson University. Twelve Lambda Chi Alpha's and their dates attended the party. ★ ★ ★ Mercy Hospital Auxiliary is sponsoring a benefit book review and brunch at the Coral Gables Woman's Club at 10:30 a.m., Dec. 10. Mrs. Frank Kerdyk will review "The Last of the Whitfields," by Elise Sanguinetti. Reservations may be made by phoning Loretta McTiernan at HI 3-8733. The auxiliary is reactivating its Civil Defense preparedness program. Thirty members have already signed up for the first series of instruction classes.
