MAILBOX

EDITOR: At the Tuesday, Nov. 14 meeting of the North Side Shopping Center Merchant's Association, the majority of the 53 merchants, after considering the question of Sunday openings, went on record for its second year as being opposed to retail businesses being open on Sundays and will remain closed on Sundays with the exception of those service type businesses traditionally open on Sundays such as restaurants, drug stores, and self-service laundries. The North Side Shopping Center Merchant's Association wishes to go on record publicly as being opposed to Sunday business openings and wishes to ally itself with any other group so opposed. B. B.
