Our Y Has New Man In Youth Work
BRUCE BARTLAM Bruce C. Bartlam is the new youth director of the Southwest Branch YMCA. Bartlam, formerly of Richmond, Va., and his wife arrived in late October. They reside at 7103 SW 90th Ave. He was associated with the South Richmond-Chesterfield branch of the YMCA, where he directed day camping, led boys groups — and was advisor to Junior Ji-Y and Senior Hi-Y Clubs. He has his Bachelor of Science degree from RPI in recreational leadership. His duties at Southwest YMCA will include directing the sports and camping program, supervising the youth clubs and their leaders, and initiating new activities such as Indian Guides for first and second graders.

This restaurant features a bakery department — all the bakery delights are prepared on the premises. Only the finest ingredients are used. Popular throughout the day is Miller's ice cream. Nowhere in Dade County can you find better ice cream because Mr. Miller personally used his authentic recipe adding 20% butterfat to the ingredients. DINNER "Chef d'oeuvre" or defined as a masterpiece was the reply of a satisfied customer after dining at Miller's. "The chef takes personal pride in every dish that leaves his kitchen." Jack Bigly of Hollywood said. "I dine at Miller's whenever I'm in town. "I also like the wide selection of entrees served during the evening hours. For example the evening menu includes dishes such as Top round, brisket of Beef with kashe, roast duck, chicken en pot, stuffed panamanian shrimp with crabmeat. THANKSGIVING Today being Thanksgiving why not treat the family out to dinner. Full 7 course dinners are priced from $1.65 . . . children's portions .85. Dr. Lee In Revival
A well-known preacher of the Southern Baptist Convention, Dr. R. G. Lee is participating in the revival at the South Miami First Baptist Church which began last Sunday. Dr. Lee is in the pulpit every night at 7:30. He will preach through Dec. 6. The visiting preacher is a former president of the Southern Baptist Convention, author of many books, and pastor emeritus of the Bellview Baptist Church, Memphis, Tenn.

Mohawk Boat Opens Store
Operated by Ed Hahl and Rudy Carlson, Mohawk Boat opened this month at 8455 Coral Way, Westchester Shopping Plaza. The main store is at 8523 S. Dixie Highway. Manager Carlson was formerly with Sportsman Marine. Hahl has been employed with Mohawk for many years.
