who sprang into action to save someone else's life quietly line up with their commemorative plaques, presented recently by the Legion of Honor. From the left are, kneeling, Lazaro Frias and Armando Felipe, who came to a policeman's assistance; standing, Coral Gables fire department paramedic Richard Chievara, who helped revive a lightning victim; and C. C. Jones, formerly of Hialeah, and Luciano Castro, of South Dade who, in separate incidents, rescued someone from drowning.

Kenneth E. Kamberg, president of Coral Gables Federal, has been appointed to the United States League's Legislative Committee for a one-year term ending Dec. 31, 1977. Kenneth E. Kamberg the American Arbitration Association.

Graduate J. Bernard Shumate of Coral Gables graduated from the Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Program. Shumate, president and director of the Southeast First National Bank of Miami, took part in the intensive three-month course designed for experienced executives working in upper levels of di- verse organizations. New appointment Ms. Carole Fink of 10709 Caribbean Blvd., has been appointed to the commercial panel of the American Arbitration Association. TAC duty Airman Frederick R. Koepke Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. F. R. Koepke Sr., 7320 SW 79th St., re- cently graduated from an aircraft navigation sys- tems specialists course and will go to Hill AFB, Utah, for duty with a unit of the Tactical Air Com- mand. Koepke, a 1975 South Miami Senior High gradu- ate, will receive academic credit through the Com- munity College of the Air Force. New associate Stadler Associates, Inc., Gallery of Homes recently announced the association of Bill Meyersohn with their office at 1245 S. Dixie Highway. Meyersohn has sold an excess of $3.5 million in 1976. Airman Airman Charlotte Pitts, whose mother is Mrs. Marie Pitts of 14322 SW 110th Ave., has been assited to McChord AFB, Wash., after completing Air Force basic training.
