Ann Phillips 'Cinderella'

Ann Phillips has been cast in the title role of "Cinderella" in the Merry Go Round Playhouse's first production. Miss Phillips has just closed in the University of Miami's Shakespearean Festival. Susan Jones has been cast as the Fairy Godmother. Miss Jones is no stranger to Miami audiences, having appeared at Studio M and the Grove Playhouse. "Cinderella" will open Sept. 2 at the Merry Go Round Playhouse at 110 Aragon.

MRS. HOLT GARRARD The Garrards Honeymoon In Mexico City, Mexico On a wedding trip to Mexico City, Tasco and Acapulco are Mr. and Mrs. Holt Van Leonard Garrard, following their Saturday wedding at St. Thomas Episcopal Church. The bride, the former Miss Rochelle Reynolds, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Will Burgess Reynolds of 5110 SW 80th St. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Ford Garrard of 601 Alhambra Cir. and New Orleans, La. The couple pledged their vows in a double ring candlelight ceremony at 7:30 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Arthur J. Rantz officiating. The reception followed in the parish hall. Dianne Reynolds, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Mrs. Robert D. Knight of Ft. Lauderdale, sister of the groom; Miss Almalee Cartee, of Coral Gables; Miss Sally Snare, of South Miami and Miss Gayle MacKenzie, of Ft. Lauderdale. The father of the groom was best man. Ushers were William B. Garrard and Louis F. Garrard IV of New Orleans, brothers of the groom; William P. Dismukes, Coral Gables; Robert D. Knight, of Ft. Lauderdale; Richard K. Whitehead, of Atlanta, and Edwin P. Moure of Pensacola. Susan Knight, niece of the groom, was flower girl. The bride attended Coral Gables High School and was graduated from Florida State University, where she joined Chi Omega sorority. She was a member of the Spinsters Club of Miami and the Coral Gables Country Club. The groom is a graduate Coral Gables High School and the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he joined Alpha Tau Omega fraternity.
