Barbara Stang Married To North Carolina Man
MRS. EUGENE BROCK. Away on a honeymoon trip to North Carolina are Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Lowell Brock whose wedding took place Saturday in the First Methodist Church of South Miami. The bride, the former Barbara Ann Stang, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Omar E. Stang of 5116 Red Road, formerly of Coral Gables. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Julius Brock of North Wilkesboro, N.C. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor-length gown of silk organza with Alencon lace trim reembroidered in pearls and sequins. The bell-shaped skirt fell into a chapel train and her shoulder-length illusion veil fell from a crown of pearls. She carried a white fan with roses and stephanotis. Miss Delane Vincent of Coconut Grove was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Patricia Garrison and Miss Barbara Joy Mueller and Mrs. Robert Jones, both of Cocoa. Twin sisters, Virginia and Pamela Henderson, flower girls, wore pink organdy, carried identical gowns of organza with fitted bodice, elbow length sleeves and bell skirts. The honor maid was in peony pink with matching fan of pink roses. The maids wore light pink with matching accessories. Donald L. Stang was best man. Ushers were John Devitt of Cocoa and Ralph Anderson and Glen Buhrmater Jr. of Miami. Dr. L. G. Sturdivant officiated at the 7:30 p.m. double ring ceremony, and the reception followed at the home of the bride's parents. Mrs. Stang received guests wearing a sheath gown of hyacinth color with pleated collar, matching lilac hat and purse. Among the out of town guests, all family, at the wedding were the bridegroom's grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl A. Jackson of St. Augustine; Mrs. Ellen Henderson, Greenville, Tenn.; Mr. and Mrs. Julian Smith, Tampa; and Larry Brock, brother of the bridegroom, of North Wilkesboro. The couple will reside at 325 Andelo Lane, Cocoa Beach, on the return from their honeymoon.

Adv. Orchids should not be left outside during a hurricane. Take them into the garage, workshop or some other sheltered place. If this is not possible, lay them on their side and cover them with wire such as screen, chicken wire or fish net. Fasten covering solidly to the ground. If you live near salt water and must leave your orchids outside, rinse them off as soon as possible after the storm and then allow them to dry for a few days, also rinse covering or shade trees. This applies even if you live as far as 10 miles from the Bay. Brant Orchid Supply will repot them for you if needed and we also keep Orchid supplies at all times. 2970 S.W. 27th Ave, Ph. HI 3-5544
