The John Fryers Will Live In Gainesville

The 4 p.m. ceremony took place in the sanctuary, with Dr. John Hanger officiating, and the reception followed in the Coral Gables Country Club where the bride, a member of the 1961 Debutantes made her bow to society, as Miss Carol Jean Graham. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry William Graham, 65 Morningside Dr., the bride, given in marriage by her father wore a floor length gown of silk peau de soie designed on princess lines with chapel train, Sabrina neck line and bracelet length sleeves. A queen's crown of pearls held her illusion veil, and her only ornament was a string of pearls, the gift of the groom. Donna Lee Graham, only sister of the bride was maid of honor, Debra Lee Fryer, only sister of the groom was junior bridesmaid. They wore gowns alike of aqua silk organza and carried Cymbidium orchids of deep yellow. Youngest sister of the groom, Barbara Marian was flower girl. For her daughter's wedding, Mrs. Graham wore a gown of pale aqua silk organza and Allencon lace. The groom's mother was in aqua silk chiffon designed sheath style. Both matrons wore white orchids. For her wedding the bride carried a French chantilly lace handkerchief, a hand made gift by and from Mrs. Clyde Leslie. The five real pearls sewn on the handkerchief are for the start of a pearl necklace for the first baby girl. The bride is a graduate of Coral Gables High School, a member of the Coral Gables Country Club and of the Children of the American Revolution. She will enter the University of Florida for her freshman year.
