Voter registration time running out
There are only two weeks left to register to vote in the primary election to be held Sept. 7 and Sept. 28. The ballot for these elections includes the Democratic and Republican primary offices, and the election of the Board of County Commissioners and judges. If you have not yet registered to vote, or if you need to change your name, address, or political affiliation on your registration record, the following registration sites will be available beginning July 10: ● Dadeland Shopping Mall, Seahorse Fountain, July 10, 13 and 15, 1 to 9 p.m. ● South Dade Government Center, 10701 SW 211 St., Monday, Wednesday and Friday, July 12, 14, and 16 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday, July 13 and 15, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. ● Cutler Ridge Mall, U.S. 1 and SW 211th St., Tuesday, July 13 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. ● Kendall Mall, 8881 SW 107th Ave., Wednesday, July 14, from 1 to 9 p.m. ● West Perrine Center, 17901 Homestead Ave., Thursday, July 15 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. ● Look, Inc, 20239 S. Flagler, in front of Richards, July 17 from 1 to 9 p.m. Registration for the fall primary eleciton will close at 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 24.

Special concert in S. Miami
The Michael Roy Singers will present a special Bicentennial concert on Sunday, July 11 at 8 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church of South Miami at Red Road and S. Dixie Hwy. Admission is free and guest artists will include Warren Broome, accompanist, Chris Hansen as Uncle Sam and the Flag Corps of the Miami Girl Scouts.

DADE COUNTY KENDALL AND CUTLER RIDGE AUTO INSPECTION STATIONS ARE NOW OPEN SIX DAYS A WEEK — MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY TO BETTER SERVE YOU. By action of the City of West Miami, the West Miami auto inspection station is closed. If you have had your vehicle inspected at the West Miami station within the last 30 days and received a rejection, you must drive to the new Kendall station for your re-inspection and valid sticker. All the paperwork of the West Miami station has been moved to Kendall, the brand new county-operated facility with four lanes for faster service. So motorists will not be inconvenienced by the West Miami closing, Dade County is extending its service days to six . . . Monday through Saturday . . . at both Kendall and Cutler Ridge stations.
