RANSOM DAY CAMP
Ransom School has offered a summer Fun Camp for many years. They refer to it as "a going away camp at home." Hot lunch and transportation are provided. As a non-speciality camp, the program offers boys & girls from 6-14 an opportunity to participate in Field Sports, archery, arts & crafts, field trips, and swimming in an Olympic sized pool. Being located on Biscayne Bay, it is natural that strong emphasis is placed on canoeing and sailing; an important and enjoyable activity is the sailing outing to islands where picnics are held. The staff are mostly returners from previous summers with a number of alumni now helping to make summer as much fun for campers as it was when they attended.

FALL BEGININGS
No it isn't fall yet, but should 't you be thinking ahead? Registration for fall semester for local colleges begins soon. Why not take that class you've been thinking about? Or a course in handicrafts to satisfy that artistic bend. What about the younger children in the family? There are pre-schools in the area where youngsters can meet new friends and begin to learn the ABC's. Keep an eye on this page in the coming weeks for a listing of schools & classes and make that decision to start yourself in a new direction.
