THE CITY OF CORAL GABLES, FLORIDA LEGAL NOTICE NOTICE OF GENERAL CITY BI-ENNIAL ELECTION IN THE CITY OF CORAL GABLES, FLORIDA, APRIL 12, 1977.

A General City Bi-Ennial Election will be held in the several precincts in The City of Coral Gables, Florida, on Tuesday, the 12th day of April, A.D. 1977 from 7:00 o'clock A.M. to 7:00 o'clock P.M. on said date, for the purpose of electing three (3) Commissioners and designated Mayor for Coral Gables. The two (2) candidates receiving the highest number of votes for the office of Commissioner shall each hold office for a term of four (4) years; the candidate receiving the third highest number of votes will hold office for two (2) years. A part of the ballot will be so arranged that the electors may designate their choice for Mayor for the ensuing two (2) years, of those candidates or incumbent Commissioners who may request their names to be placed upon the ballot for Mayor. Information as to the qualifications of electors and candidates, and the manner of filing nominations for the offices to be voted upon, may be secured by inquiring at the office of the City Clerk in the City Hall, 405 Biltmore Way, Coral Gables, Florida. The registration books of The City of Coral Gables shall be kept open in the office of the Dade County Supervisor of Elections for the registration of voters for said general bi-ennial election to be held on April 12, 1977 and shall be closed at 5:00 o'clock P.M. on Saturday, February 26, 1977, and only those persons who have properly registered in and on said books on or before 5:00 o'clock P.M. on February 26, 1977 shall be considered qualified electors of The City of Coral Gables, in the said general city election to be held on April 12, 1977.
