New rabbi comes to Beth David

Dr. Emanuel Green has been appointed as Rabbi-in-Residence at Beth David Congregation, according to Rabbi Sol Landau, spiritual leader of Beth David. Dr. Green has a long list of credits; Professor Emeritus of Comparative Literature and Languages, past president of the National Association of Professors of Hebrew, a decade of service as National Chairman of the Jewish Music Council of the National Jewish Welfare Board. At the Graduate Institute of the Insitutes of Religion and Health in New York, Dr. Green studied marriage, sexuality, family therapy, individual and group psychotherapy, geriatrics and counseling in critical human relations. Dr. Green is also a contributor to the Encyclopedia Judaica, and he has been named to the 1974 edition of Who's Who in Religion and the 1974 edition of the Dictionary of American Scholars. Besides being available to members of Beth David Congregation as Pastoral Counselor, Dr. Green is a part-time member of the staff of the Center of Pastoral Counseling and Human Development in Ft. Lauderdale.
