WHO LIES ABOUT HEALTH?
ADVERTISEMENT WHO LIES ABOUT HEALTH? (a personal message from Gardnar Mulloy) Since time began, unfortunately, the health field has been full of liars. All kinds of fakers and con men realizing (correctly) that a person will give almost anything for better health, have plagued the public with phony claims, worthless pills, fake machines, and "magic" cures. They understand (again correctly) the ever present fear of losing health and the rough road — sometimes the impossible road — to regain lost health. The trick is to hold on to good health as long as you possibly can and I've learned just how that's done. That's why I'm saddened to see so many lured by ads offering health, in one form or another, for "one to five dollars per month." It simply cannot be done for "one to five dollars per month" in a properly equipped professionally staffed health or athletic club. I believe that all such phony claims are "bait" to get you started. Since I don't believe in lures, bait, gimmicks or unkept promises, my club has only one fee: a membership fee of $380.00 that covers all services, even hand massage, for the entire family for one full year. Charter membership (until November 17th) is $280.00. Financing is available. Members are treated to the finest possible personal service: they are never bothered for "extras". Our inside activities include wet and dry steam, plus every phase of figure contouring, weight reduction and body building. We also have indoor sports and dance instruction for children and adults. Our outside activities include swimming, golf, tennis and bowling. My promise to club members is a richer life through glowing, robust health. We are not going to crowd our Southwest club activities and we are running out of memberships. So please contact a membership committee member as soon as possible at 661-4229.
