Miss Clark, Mr. Shull Are Married
MRS. MICHAEL SHULL On an up-state Florida wedding trip with destination Fort Walton Beach, where they will reside, are Mr. and Mrs. Michael Allen Shull. Their wedding took place Saturday at the Le Jeune Presbyterian Church. The bride is the former Lorraine Cecile Clark, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kendrid W. Clark, 3810 NW 12th Terr. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. T. Harold Shull of 4363 SW 5th St. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor-length white taffeta and silk organza gown designed with fitted bodice, and full skirt. Lace inserts decorated the fitted bodice which had a Sabrina neckline and long sleeves. Her veil fell from a tiara of pearls and sequins and she carried a cascade bouquet of white tube roses centered with a white orchid. Miss Jeannie Vrabel and Miss Sharon Hundley were the bride's attendants. They wore short royal blue satin sheaths with overskirts, matching hat and shoes and carried bouquets of white carnations. Paul Senory was best man. Ushers were Rodney Reynolds and William Brown. The Rev. Ray Davies officiated at the 7 p.m. ceremony, and the reception followed, in the church hall. The bride is a graduate of Miami High School where she was a member of the Junior Debs.
Dr. Steinhoff Named Summer Session Director
Dr. Dan Steinhoff Jr., dean of the University of Miami Evening Division since 1950, is the new director of summer sessions. He relieved Dr. Warren H. Steinbach who had asked to devote full-time to his duties as chairman of the chemistry department. Dr. Steinbach has held the summer post since June, 1953. A professor of management, Dr. Steinhoff joined the UM faculty in 1946 after serving in military and industrial management posts. He attended the University of Washington, Seattle, for his undergraduate work and received his master's degree at the University of Michigan. In 1952, he received the degree of doctor of social science from the University of Havana, the first native born American to complete a doctorate there. Dr. Steinbach earned both his bachelor's and master's degrees at Hastings College, Nebraska, and his doctorate at the University of Nebraska. He is the author of several textbooks and numerous technical papers on chemistry.
