W. Miami Memorial parade ready to go
The ninth annual West Miami Memorial Day Parade will begin at 4:30 p.m. Monday, May 31. The parade route will follow SW 16th Street from SW 65th Avenue to SW 57th Avenue. The Bicentennial Parade will be led by the Marine Corps band and three high school bands. Two drum and bugle corps, the Mummers String Band, the Florida National Guards' 13th Army Band and the St. Andrews Pipe Band will participate with veterans' organizations, Scouts, horses, clowns and floats. Memorial Services at Open Space Park, SW 16th Street and SW 57th Court, will follow the parade.
