Scouts get camp checkups

Westchester General Hospital helped ready youngsters from Troop #1001 for Boy Scout summer camp this year by offering free physical examinations. The check-ups, which are required by Boy Scouts of America before the Scouts attend camp include a thorough analysis of each boy's heart, pulse, blood pressure, height, weight and general physical health. Dr. M.S. Fox of Westchester staff conducted the examinations. Mike Zarle and Bruce Hobson, thetroop's assistant scoutmasters who will accompany the boys to Camp Loneoak in Inverness, said that seven boys from Troop #1001 would be attending: Rigoberto Balfeon, Waldo Carrasco, Chandy Chardiet, Kenny Fackler, Julio Lorenzo, George Napoles, and Larry Rhode. Westchester General Hospital has sponsored the Boy Scout troop since December, 1974 and provides them with facilities during the school year.
