ALFORD Oliver Perry Alford of Coral Gables, died July 11. A graduate of Princeton University he was a football coach at Princeton and the University of Kentucky. Former member of Coral Gables Country Club. Navy League, Princeton Club and Naval Academy Association. He is survived by his wife, Mary and a daughter, Elizabeth A. Watson both of Coral Gables. Graveside service in Kentucky. Local arrangements by Van Orsdel Coral Gables Chapel. BLANK Earl S. Blank, 85, of 12252 SW 28 Terr. died July 10. He is survived by one son, three daughters, one sister, 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services and burial will be in Youngstown, Ohio. Local arrangements under the direction of Ahern-Plummer. CARSON George T. Carson 85, of 9700 SW 73rd Ct., died July 10. A resident here for seven years formerly of Atlanta Ga. He was retired from the USN as an officer with 33 years of service. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Bert Cason Kirby; one son, Forrest Adair Cason, Alaska; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Don C. Martin and Mrs. C.C. Arnett. Services and burial will be in Atlanta, Ga. Local services by Stanfill Funeral Homes. DERR Gerald D. Derr 66, of 19830 Lenaire Dr. Cutler Ridge died July 10. He had been an area resident for nine years coming from Schenectady, N.Y. He was retired from the USAF after 35 years of service and was secretary of St. Thomas Lutheran Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ella M.; two sons, Dennis D. and Paul A., all of Miami, one brother, John; one sister, Mrs. Eilene Knaus. Services were 2 p.m. Tuesday in St. Thomas Lutheran Church with Military Services at the graveside in Woodlawn South. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to St. Thomas Lutheran Church. EGELAND Siguard E. Egeland, 73 of Miami died July 11. A resident of Miami since 1925 before moving to Fort Worth, Tex., six months ago. He is survived by two sons, Sigurd A. and Ray Larsen; two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Larsen Parker and Mrs. Elsie Larsen Panza; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, ard a sister, Eleanor. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Philbrick and Son Coral Gables Funeral Home. FRAGA Gervas G. Fraga, 92 of Miami, died July 9. A resident since 1921, he was a shipping and receiving clerk for the Miami Daily News for 28 years before retiring. He is survived by a son, George of Miami, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services were 2 p.m. Monday at Philbrick and Son Coral Gables Funeral Home. Burial took place at Miami Memorial Park. HARVEL William P. Harvel, 77 of Miami, died July 8. A resident since 1960 coming from Mt. Gallid N.C., he is survived by a son, William P. Jr.; daughter-in-law, Terry Harvel; grandson William P. III of Miami; daughter, Connie Russell; son-in-law, John Russell and three grandchildren. Memorial services were 3 p.m. Saturday at Philbrick and Son Coral Gables Funeral Home. HERNANDEZ Frank Hernandez, 59, of 3781 SW 28th St.died July 9. He is survived by his wife, Teresa; daughter Rassel, Jacqueline Miller and Sara Hernandez. Services were 3 p.m. Monday at Caballero Funeral Home. Burial took place at Graceland Memorial Park. LAMKA Everett Lamka, 62, of Miami died July 5. He was a member of the Association Braniff International Airway and the Granada Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his wife, Vera; two sons, John and Randy; daughters, Eddift and Jannie; and brother, George. Services were 11 a.m. Thursday at Van Orsdel Bird Road Chapel. Burial took place at Woodlawn South Cemetery. MINKS Edward James Minks, Sr., 56, died July 10. He is survived by his wife, Darlrena; son, Edward; daughters, Linda Gray and Margaret Castelos; and eight grandchildren. Services are 10 a.m. Wednesday, at Van Orsdel Bird Road Chapel. Burial will take place at Woodlawn South Cemetery. OLMO Francisca Olmo, 47, of 301 Majorca, Coral Gables, died July 10. Survived by mother, Chicha Olmo; brothers, Miguel, Mignon, and Maricus Olmo. Services were 9 a.m. Tuesday at St. Raymond's Catholic Church. SANCHEZ Bertha Sanchez, 46, of South Miami died July 8. She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Bertha Sanchez, sister, Eisela Candenas; and brother-in-law.
