Two youths aid police
From Page 1 roof and promptly called the South Miami Police. Apprehended on a bicycle in the 6400 block of SW 64th Street was David Earl Tomlin, 19, 6007 SW 69th St., who fit the description given by the youngsters. Unaware of having been seen by the two boys, Tomlin allegedly told officers they couldn't arrest him because they didn't have any witnesses. But when confronted by the two boys, and pointed out as the one they saw riding away from the Mills' home after the break-in, Tomlin was charged with burglary and possession of burglary tools. Parents of the two young witnesses have requested that the names of the two boys not be released.

WHO IS JIMMY GUNN?
JIMMY GUNN He is a native born Miamian, 45 years old, who is a God loving and God fearing man, married, father of four children. He received the State's highest award, the Humanitarian award for fighting crime on May 22, 1976, from Attorney General Robert Shevin. He started the first Boys Scout Troop in the world for boys with learning disabilities, "dyslexia". He's one of the most decorated war heroes (Marine Corps) of the Korean War. He was trapped for 43 days on the Chosen Reservoir when it was 20, 30 and 40 below zero, when the Chinese entered the war. He's the youngest man ever to make Sergeant in the Marine Corps. History — age 18 and 19 when he made Staff Sergeant. Successful businessman, acting as a business consultant with the family firm, L.G. Gunn & Associates, representing the independent tomato growers, the trap fishermen "Lobster and Stonecrab Fisherman", and Miami's newest airline, which flies from Miami-Santo Domingo, Madrid, Spain and Rome, Italy and London, England.
