ESPINOSA Jose Maria Espinosa, 46, a resident of 5301 SW 88th Ct., born in Cuba and resident of Miami since 1954. Owner of Espinosa Auto Service. Member of Coral Gables Country Club. He is survived by his wife, Carmen Espinosa; son, Joe and daughter, Rosemary, mother, Juana Espinosa. Services were Monday, Aug. 30 at 11 a.m. at St. Brendan's Catholic Church. Burial took place at Woodlawn Park Cemetery. Arrangements by Caballero Funeral Home of Coral Gables. GOTTLIEB Albert Gottlieb, 76 of Coral Gables died Friday, Aug. 27. A plastics manufacturer in Brookline, Mass., he was a Miami resident for the past 14 years. He was an Army Infantry Officer in WWI, a Col. in WWII and a Violist in two string quartets. He is survived by his wife, Geraldine; sister, Gertrude Pontell, L.A.; two daughters, Geraldine Ruth Quintan and Jane M. Cantor and five grandchildren. Services were Tuesday, Aug. 24 at Gordon Funeral Home with burial in Star of David Memorial Park. GRIFFIN Laurence J. Griffin, 79, a native of Kissimmee, Fla. He came to Miami in 1918 and went to work for the First National Bank in 1927 he became finance director for the City of Miami leaving in 1931, to form a General Insurance Company with William Buchanan. He served as president of the finance company until his retirement in 1966. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Miami, Kiwanis Club Legions of Honor, Riviera Country Club, Masonic Lodge, Jesters, and Mahi Shrine Temple. He is survived by his daughter, Ann (William W.) Welbon, Clearwater, Fla.; three grandsons, William and Laurence, Clearwater, and Robert of Miami; three sisters, Mrs. Fount Rion, Palatka, Mrs. J. Rolfe Dais and Mrs. Leslie Jackson both of Orlando, several nieces and nephews, including T. Allen Jones Jr., Miami. Services were Monday, Aug. 30, 10 a.m. at Van Orsdel Coral Gables Chapel. Entombment at Woodlawn Mausoleum. The family suggests memorial to a favorite charity. GRISWOLD Nellie Griswold, 56. A resident of Miami since 1940. Survived by a son, Alfred, Ocean Springs, Miss.; three sisters, Lillian A. Purvis, Julia S. Stevens both of Miami and Mary Sanok, Goshen N.Y. Services were 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 30 at Philbrick and Son Coral Gables Funeral Home. HOCHREITER Freda Evelyn Hochreiter, 76. She came to Miami in 1957 from Burlington, Mass. Survived by a sister, Mrs. Earl (Marion S.) Johnson, Cape Elizabeth, Me. daughter-in-law, Mrs. Harrie Field, Temple City, Calif.; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild; a stepdaughter Mrs. Edward (Helen) Schilling, Miami; step-son, Walter Hochreiter, Copiague, L.I., N.Y. Services were 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 30 at Woodlawn Mausoleum Chapel. HORN Milton Horn, 62, of West Miami, died Friday, Aug 27. Graveside services and burial were Sunday at 12:30 p.m. Mt. Nebo Cemetery under direction of Gordon Funeral Home. LANDCASTER Sylvia J. Lancaster, 39, of Miami died Thursday, Aug. 27. She had resided in Dade County since 1968 coming from Roanoke, Va. She is survived by her husband, William K. Jr., who is employed with United Air Lines, one son, William K. III; one daughter, Cynthia Lynne; father, Robert L. Lovern; two brothers, Ronald and Allan Lovern; two sisters, Mrs. Charlotte Myers and Raye Kalser. Services were 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 30 at the Stanfill Kendall Chapel with burial in Virginia.
