The Many Moods Of a New Church

—ADVERTISEMENT— REPRESENTING some of the church's leadership are left to right, Mrs. Allen Morris, immediate past president of the women; H. E. Magann, chairman of the board of deacons; Mrs. Magann, a Sunday School teacher; and Mrs. Fred Meadows, newly-elected president of the church women. PHOTOGRAPHED against the church's art window, are the Rev. Claude I. Allen Jr., (left) assistant minister, and the Rev. Dr. Frank Alfred Mathes, minister. ALLEN MORRIS headed up the central committee responsible for the entire building expansion program. He had four subcommittees under his leadership. INTERIOR OF THE 900-SEAT SANCTUARY SECRETARIES at the church are Mrs. Edna Sickels (left), general church secretary; and Mrs. Olive Terrill, secretary to Dr. Mathes. CHARLES KIMBRELL was chairman of the Building Construction Committee, the group concerned with the actual building of the half-million dollar project. MRS.
