Gableite Best Dressed Coed

MISS MYRTICE CONN Myrtice Conn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Conn, 4800 Riviera Dr., has been selected the best dressed coed at Eastern New Mexico University, Portales, New Mexico. Miss Conn, a graduate of Coral Gables High School, attended Texas Women's University Denton, Texas, before transfering to Eastern last fall. She was selected one of the 10-best dressed coeds, was sophomore beauty queen, and served as president of her sophomore class at Denton. A drama major, Miss Conn is active in the University Theatre at Eastern. The petite model's roles at Eastern include the feminine title role in "Romanoff and Juliet." For the past three summers, Miss Conn worked on the college board at Burdine's. Serving as a model and coordinator of the high school board, she modeled each day in the tea room of the store.

3 Women Honorees At Tea

The Coral Gables Woman's Club will honor three area women at a tea April 19, 3:30-4:30 p.m., during National Library Book. The tea, open to the public, will be held in the loggia between the Woman's Club and the library at 1001 E. Ponce de Leon Blvd. The guests of honor will be Miss Margaret Beaton, head librarian; Mrs. M. Lewis Hall, 751 N. Greenway Dr., president of the Florida Federation of Women's Clubs; and Mrs. Louis Stajdel, 5300 SW 7th St., president of Gables Woman's Club.

Gerald Weinstein

Gerald D. Weinstein, 4800 University Drive, fourth year student at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, was selected to present one of 16 original student research papers at the school's 53rd Undergraduate Medical Association Day. Weinstein's paper reported on summer research in dermatology which he undertook at the University of Miami.

Judith Philipson On Dean's List

Judith Philipson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Irving F. Philipson of 808 Jeronimo Dr., made the dean's list at Boston University, where she is a freshman. A graduate of Coral Gables High School, Judith also has been elected chairman of the Drama Club.
