Mrs. Diestelhorst to Lead Pen Women

The National League of American Pen Women, Coral Gables Branch will install new officers at the Riviera Country Club today (Thursday). Following the installation and luncheon, Margaret, (Mrs. Leslie, Keyser, 925 Palermo Ave., will review "The Agony And the Ecstasy," the life of Michaelangelo. Mrs. John Irwin, (Madeline), 327 Menores Ave., new Florida State President, will install the new officers. Decorations are Madeline's own creations and were at the Music and Poetry Banquet in Washington at the recent Biennial. Mrs. Fred W. Diestelhorst, 7832 Ponce de Leon Rd. will take over the president's gavel from Mrs. Wm. T. (Marge) Hillis, 1680 S. Bayshore La. Mrs. Edward (Billie) Parodi, 2900 SW 68th Ave. is first vice president. Mrs. Harry (Betty) Rainbow, 820 NW 32nd Ct., Miami, will be second vice president. Mrs. Wm. (Elva) Charlton, 5537 Sardinia Ave., is third vice president. Mrs. Byron (Peggy) Sperow, 1422 Mendavia Ave., is treasurer. Mrs. Robert F. (Ardinell) Duncan, 1300 SW 63rd Ave., Miami, is recording secretary. Mrs. Lewis J. (Kathryne) Johnson 3707 Segovia St., is corresponding secretary. Mrs. W. H. (Beulah) Rhodes, 7275 SW 16th St., is historian. Mrs. Conley (Sue) Addington, 1415 Capri St. is librarian. Mrs. Ralph (Ruth) Engle, 1207 Columbus Blvd., is chaplain. Mrs. McIlvaine (Edith) James, 7640 SW 71st Ave., is parliamentarian. Mrs. Hillis and Mrs. Clifton J. Terry T. Waters, son of Mr. and Mrs. S. J. Waters, 612 Zamora Ave., will leave for Ft. Dix, Trenton, N.J. Sunday, after spending a two weeks vacation at home. A graduate of Army Signal School at Ft.
