On Friday Night, the Magic of Their Debuts

Twenty five debs will make their bow at 9 o'clock Friday night in the Country Club of Coral Gables. The affair is the fourth presentation through the sponsorship of the Coral Gables Woman's Club. Mrs. J. H. Worley, president of the Woman's Club, will be seated and the debs will make their bow to her. Dancing to Crusty Drybread and his orchestra will follow in the patio. Romeo and Juliet decorations will add to the sentiment of the occasion. Later, the debs and their escorts will be served dinner.

Miss Dansyear Is Miami Native

MISS DANSYEAR Patricia Frances Dansyear, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. Arthur Dansyear, 646 Majorca Ave., was born in Miami and grew up in Coral Gables. She attended Coral Gables Elementary, Ponce de Leon Junior, High School and Coral Gables High School. At high school she was a member of the Future Teachers Association and the Girls Athletic Association. Her hobbies are swimming, dancing, camping and boating.

Laurel A. Hoover Pittsburgh Native

MISS HOOVER Laurel Anne Hoover, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald R. Hoover of 631 Sevilla Ave., was born in Pittsburgh, Pa. She attended Coral Gables Elementary and Ponce de Leon Junior High Schools, and is a senior at Coral Gables High School where she is a member of Allied Youth and Modern Dance Club. She is active in Methodist Youth Fellowship. Laurel has two hobbies, collecting figurines and knitting.

Pamela Wood Was Science Winner

MISS WOOD Miss Pamela Jane Wood is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. Edward Wood of 4308 University Dr., and a native Miamian. She attended area schools. Her school affiliations include Junior Classical League, Allied Youth, German Club, National Forensic League, and the Chemistry Club, where she won second place in the South Florida Science Fair. Her hobbies are playing the piano and bowling. She is a member of Tri-Hi-Y, Junior Assembly and the Coral Gables Country Club.

Mary Jo Malise Moved Into SW

MISS MALICE Mary Jo Malice is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank H. Malice, 8450 SW 172nd St., and until recently of 5112 Maggiore St. She was born in Washington D.C. and reared in Falls Church, Va. She attended the schools here. At Gables High she is secretary of her home room; president of the Spanish Honor Society; a sponsor for the Hi-Y Club; and treasurer of the Student Council. Her hobby is cooking.

Susan E. Shaw Lived in Alaska

MISS SHAW Susan Elizabeth Shaw is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Lamg Shaw of 2401 Alhambra Circle. Susan was born in St. Louis, and reared in Coral Gables. She attended schools here. Her activities at Gables High include Cavaleon Staff, Big Sister, home room secretary, Prom committee, Red Cross and PTA representatives and she was a member of the Future Homemakers of America. During her schooling she also attended Clark in St. Louis, and Fairbanks Senior High in Alaska. Skiing (water and snow) knitting, fishing and sailing are her hobbies.

Winifred Wallace Is Honor Student

MISS WALLACE Winifred Jean (Wini) Wallace is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Linton Wallace of 910 Algaringo Ave. Wini is a native Gabelite. She attended Exmoor School, Coral Gables Elementary, Ponce de Leon Junior and Coral Gables High Schools. A consistant honor roll student, Wini is a member of Cavaliettes, secretary Future Teachers of America; Co-Eds and the German Club. She also served as Homeroom vice president and secretary. Her hobbies are sewing (makes many of her own clothes) trips, sports, swimming and water skiing.

Linda Thompson In Church Choir

MISS THOMPSON Linda Louise Thompson is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward A. Thompson of 1530 Baracoa Ave. Her birthplace was Norfolk, Va., and she was reared in Worchester, Mass., and Coral Gables. Linda attended school in Massachusetts and in Coral Gables. At Gables High she is a member of Allied Youth and Big Sister. Her hobbies are trawling, sewing and fashion-designing. She is a member of the choir at Granada Presbyterian Church, Coral Gables and Riviera Country Clubs.

Suzanne Walters Studied Modeling

MISS WALTERS Suzanne Patrice Walters is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Wesley Walters, of 5220 Riviera Dr. Suzanne was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and has lived in Miami and Coral Gables since she was four years old. She attended area schools. Her hobbies are interior decorating, horseback riding, swimming, dancing, fashion modeling and dramatics. She attended Coronet School of Modeling and has traveled extensively throughout Europe and South America.

Athletics Top Hobbies for Her

MISS KING Judith March King is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward R. King of 2825 Granada Blvd. She was reared in the Miami area. She attended Miss Harris' Florida School and is a June graduate - elect at Coral Gables High School. Her school affiliations include membership in Allied Youth, Prom Committee, Big Sister and she is on the Cavaleon Staff and Highlights, the school paper. Her hobbies are swimming, dancing, and water skiing.

Miss Mozur Born In The Capital

MISS MOZUR Pamela Mozur, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John P. Mozur, 1309 Castile Ave., was born in Washington, D.C., and reared in Alexandria, Va., New York City and Miami. At Coral Gables High she was a sponsor of Dirigimus Hi-Y; member of National Honor Society, French Club, Future Teachers of America and a member of the Cavaleon staff. She is historian of Tri-Hi-Y sponsored by the Southwest YMCA and active in women's activities of the First Methodist Church of Coral Gables.

Swimming Hobby For Miss Cagle

MISS CAGLE Frankie Ellen Cagle, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Cagle, 7020 Almansa St., who will make her bow Friday night at the Coral Gables Country Club, enjoys swimming as her hobby. Frankie attended Ponce Junior High and Coral Gables High School. She is a member of the Coral Gables Country Club water ballet; a junior Red Cross Nurses aide and is a member of the Methodist Youth Fellowship.

Betsy Snodgrass Born in Jersey

MISS SNODGRASS Betsy Blackburn Snodgrass is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harlan E. Snodgrass of 1120 Manati Ave. She was born in Orange, N.J. and moved with her parents to Coral Gables when she was three years old. She attended our schools. She was a member of the Cavaliettes, French Club, National Honor Society and the Senior Board.
